Parts and Rental Counter Salesperson
PARTS/RENTAL COUNTER SALESPERSON
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Provide equipment parts and rental answers and solutions for our retail customers in person, at the counter and over the phone, in a timely, courteous and efficient manner
- Work closely with the Service and Sales Departments to supply service parts as needed
- Keep accurate records of inventory receipted in and sold, in order to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Maintain the condition of company inventory, equipment and tools
- Ability to multi-task and transition easily between the parts inventories of multiple lines of equipment
- Receive daily and weekly parts orders by verifying part numbers and quantities and allocate them to the proper bin location, customer or service technician
- Performs cycle counts routinely so that counts on all parts are completed monthly
- Maintain a clean and organized parts storage area, parts counter and showroom display area
- Answer inbound calls for the parts and rental department
- Prepare rental forms and contracts, obtains customer signature, certificate of Insurance and other information as required.
- Explain rental fees and provide information about rented items, such as operation or description
- Responsible for arranging/dispatching equipment movement for rentals
- Reserves and Rents items for requested time and maintains rental reservation file
- Additional duties as required by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience operating a Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment
- Able to lift items up to 75 lbs.
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
Job Type: Full-Time Days
Experience:
- Parts/Inventory and Mechanical Knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)

Pay: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
